Accessibility Statement

We want every person to be able to use this website. That includes people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the screen, or need captions.

This page tells you what we are aiming for, what we have done, what still needs work, and how to reach us when something does not work for you.

Accessibility Statement: Our Goals

We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the accessibility standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium. It is the current version.

We are not there yet. We are telling you that plainly instead of claiming otherwise.

This site is a rebuild. We fix accessibility problems as we find them, and we update this page as we go.

What we have done

We have reviewed heading structure and image descriptions on several pages and corrected issues found during that review.

We have checked reviewed pages at desktop and mobile sizes and corrected layout issues we found.

We made the mobile menu button visible against the header behind it.

We write in plain language and keep paragraphs short.

What still needs work

Our page-by-page review is still in progress. We are checking image descriptions, heading structure, text size, and mobile layouts across the site.

We still need to complete broader checks of keyboard navigation, screen-reader use, color contrast, and forms.

Our blog and third-party tools also need review.

These improvements do not yet establish full WCAG conformance. We are working through the remaining checks and issues.

Parts we do not control

Some of what you see here comes from other companies. Wix hosts this site. PayPal and Zeffy handle giving. When something in their part of the site is not accessible, we will report it to them and tell you what we hear back.

Our mentoring happens inside public schools, which follow their own accessibility requirements. For an event or a meeting, email us about accommodations and we will work it out with you.

We will respond within 10 business days. If a page will not work for you, we will get you the information another way, by email or by mail or by a call we set up.
