Our mentors chaperoned present and past Town Creek Middle School students to visit the International African American History Museum in Charleston, NC. It was a wonderful and informative opportunity to learn about the impact of African and African American cultures, labor, and resistance movements that have shaped our world today.

What a night to remember! On December 5th, we threw a Black Tie Gala at the Landfall Country Club to honor the incredible work of the 100 Black Men of Coastal NC. We celebrated our dedicated members and recognized the generous sponsors and friends who made our mission possible. Thank you to Carl Newton's Review Band for keeping the night lively and musical.

To everyone who attended, supported the 100 this year, and made the evening a success, we thank you! Together, we are making a difference and creating opportunities for young black men in our community. Here's to 2025 and the incredible work ahead 🎉

The mentors of the 100 Black Men of Coastal North Carolina meet weekly with the African American youth at Town Creek Middle School in Brunswick County. On December 6, 2024, the mentors invited a special guest speaker, Mr. Larry Fairchild, a retired CIA employee. He spoke eloquently about his distinguished career and shared the career path that shaped his professional life. Thank you!
