Students Learn Life-Long Banking Skills

More than 20 students are learning about banking, credit cards, checking accounts and more in the Hands-On Banking Program sponsored by grant from Wells Fargo. Students in the eighth grade through high school in New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties can earn up to $200 in funds to match the student’s contribution.
The Zoom sessions are every other Saturday from February 13 through May 8. Questions should be directed to Stan Hixon at shixon794@gmail.com.
